We are delighted to welcome Jennifer Harrington, JD, MS, as the newest attorney counselor at the OAAP! Jennifer is a native Oregonian and a graduate of Reed College, University of Oregon School of Law, and the Pacific University School of Professional Psychology. She practiced law for over 30 years, as a juvenile lawyer and as an attorney specializing in representing clients in Mental Health Court and involuntary commitment cases at the state’s largest public defense services provider.
Jennifer obtained her master’s degree in clinical psychology in 2008 and worked with individuals, couples, and groups for five years. She is beginning the process to pursue licensure through the Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. In her work, she uses existential, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches to assist clients who are facing personal and/or career-related challenges. Jennifer brings great enthusiasm and a wealth of experience to our team, and we are so fortunate she has joined us to share her skills with the Oregon legal community.
Jennifer is excited to join the OAAP team and is looking forward to connecting with and supporting Oregon lawyers, judges, and law students in developing the skills they need to meet the demands of their personal and professional lives in a healthy way.
